Wound/Scar Revision 

Wound / Scar revision is an attempt to make your scar / wound from prior Cesarean sections or other gynecologic procedures more cosmetically pleasing or more comfortable. It is usually done as part of a repeat Cesarean section or as part of a hysterectomy procedure. Some times, it can be done as an independent procedure if your surgical wound is causing you a lot of pain / discomfort.

You can inquire about this procedure during your visit with the Ob/Gyn if you are having problem with your wound.
