Patient Accountability Branch
The Patient Accountability Branch is dedicated to delivering high-quality administrative support for all matters pertaining to patient accountability, including admissions, dispositions, births, deaths, aeromedical evacuations (AE), transportation, inter-facility transfers, and the initiation of line of duty investigations (LOD). In executing its mission, the Patient Accountability Branch ensures strict adherence to the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. § 552a), as amended, safeguarding all personally identifiable information and maintaining the confidentiality of medical records. Only data authorized by law and essential to mission execution is collected and maintained.
