Active Duty Soldiers
What:
Addictions Medicine Intensive Outpatient Program (AMIOP) is an intensive outpatient Substance Use Disorder program serving all Active Duty Service Members. AMIOP provides standardized and synchronized intensive outpatient addiction treatment that is designed to provide an intermediate level of care, thereby reducing addiction admissions/re-admissions, and building psychological health and healing and increasing resilience for Service Members and beneficiaries. AMIOPs provide intensive, structured hospital or clinic-based services for individuals with substance use disorders who require more services than those typically available in traditional outpatient settings, such as ancillary medical and psychiatric services.
