Outpatient Psychiatry Service (OPS)
The Outpatient Psychiatry Service provides crisis-intervention, evaluation, and treatment for family members, retirees and their families. Referrals are made through your primary care manager. An evaluation will be conducted to assess your needs. Treatment is usually focused on brief counseling and other interventions including group therapy. Long term treatment is done in collaboration with your primary care provider or by a TRICARE provider in the community.
Patients requiring emergent services should contact their primary care manager (PCM) or the emergency room first. The provider, if necessary, will contact our clinic to arrange for an appropriate time for evaluation.
