Women's Health & Pregnancy

Women's Health refers to comprehensive women’s health care as well as health issues that are unique to women, including:

  • Pregnancy
  • Menopause
  • Conditions of the Female Organs
Be sure to get early and regular prenatal care to ensure you have a healthy pregnancy. You should also get recommended breast cancer, cervical cancer, and bone density screenings.

Our goal is to ensure the health and readiness of all women at every stage of life.

Women’s Health Services

Patients receive a virtual intake appointment with a nurse at 8-10 weeks; a provider will see them 10-12 weeks in person for their OB physical; PT's having concerns/issues prior to these appointments need to call the call center (915-742-2273) to get a message to the OB clinic nursing staff or contact the OB/GYN clinic via the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal.

TRICARE covers many Women’s Health services, including screening, preventive, and reproductive care.
All Obstetrics and Gynecology patient must have an active referral in order to be booked in the OBGYN clinic. Your PCM can place this referral.

TRICARE Covered Services

TRICARE covers well-woman exams annually for women under age 65 with no cost-share or copayment. TRICARE offers coverage for many women’s health services, including:
