CSM Luis A. Maldonado
CSM Maldonado is a native of San Juan, Puerto Rico and a graduate of Class 63 of the U.S. Army Sergeant Major Academy. He entered the Army in November of 1990 to become an 81B/Drafting Specialist completing basic and advanced individual training (AIT) in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. In 1995, he re-classified to become a 91E (68E) Dental Specialist, successfully graduating from the AMEDD Center & School in Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

During his career, CSM Maldonado has served in a wide variety of leadership positions to include Supply Rm NCOIC, Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Hospital Clinic NCOIC, Army Dental Laboratory NCOIC, Army Dental Laboratory Senior Dental NCO, Operations NCO, Dental Activity Senior Dental NCO, First Sergeant, Chief Dental NCO, Hospital Chief Medical NCO, Division Surgeon Sergeant Major, Health Clinic Sergeant Major and Troop Command Command Sergeant Major.
CSM Maldonado is a graduate of PLDC, BNCOC, ANCOC, First Sergeant Course, U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy, BDE & BN CSM Development Program, BDE & BN Pre-Command Course, Equal Opportunity Leaders Course, Safety Officer Course, Basic Health Care Management Course, and the Dental Lab Technician Course.

CSM Maldonado holds a Master’s of Science in Health Science- Public Health from Touro University International, a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Columbia College, and an Associates Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Puerto Rico.
CSM Maldonado currently lives in El Paso TX with his lovely wife Brenda of 25 years, and his two beautiful daughters, Nalani (17), and Leilani (12).
