MASK POLICY:

As of March 15, 2023, Command Policy No. 17 is in effect for all military, civilian, contract staff, and volunteers under the control of the El Paso Market and WBAMC, as well as patients and family Members who enter an El Paso Market or WBAMC facility.
Bottom Line Up Front: Face Coverings/Masks are now optional, however, it is still required for staff and patients to wear a face covering or mask upon arrival to any medical facility in the following situations:
  • They have a suspected or confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection for 10 days after their exposure (example: those with runny nose, cough, sneeze, fever and any other COVID/FLU like symptoms).
  • They had close contact with someone with SARS-CoV-2 infection for 10 days after their exposure.
  • They reside on a unit or area of the facility experiencing a SARS-CoV-2 outbreak.
  •  They have otherwise had source control recommended by public health authorities.
Patients:  Masks are now optional when you arrive at any medical or dental facility, however you may be asked by our medical staff to wear one, in order to continue to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
