The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

The Patient Accountability Branch is dedicated to delivering high-quality administrative support for all matters pertaining to patient accountability, including admissions, dispositions, births, deaths, aeromedical evacuations (AE), transportation, inter-facility transfers, and the initiation of line of duty investigations (LOD). In executing its mission, the Patient Accountability Branch ensures strict adherence to the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. § 552a), as amended, safeguarding all personally identifiable information and maintaining the confidentiality of medical records. Only data authorized by law and essential to mission execution is collected and maintained.

Patient Accountability Branch is located on the 2nd floor of the hospital. Normal office hours are Monday– Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM. For any questions related to Patient Accountability Branch services, please contact the PAB Supervisor at 915-569-3152 or the PAB NCOIC, at 915-742-5397.
