The Neurology Clinic provides specialized evaluation and management of patients with various neurological disorders. These include but are not limited to: headaches, migraines, seizures, epilepsy, transient ischemic attacks (TIA), stroke, dementia (Alzheimer’s Disease, Pick’s Disease, Frontal-Temporal Dementia, and others), movement disorders (Tourette’s Syndrome, Parkinson’s Disease, Essential Tremor, Huntington’s Disease, Dystonia, Chorea, etc.) and sleep disorders. The neurology clinic sees primary adult patients as well as some adolescents.

The Neurology Clinic also includes a child neurology clinic providing specialized evaluation and management of patients with neurological disorders as noted above, as well as, Febrile Seizures, metabolic disorders (mitochondrial disorders, organic acidemias, etc.), neuromuscular disorders (floppy or hypotonic infants, muscular dystrophy, etc..), and neurodevelopmental disorders (moderate to severe Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), autism and other pervasive developmental disorders, mental retardation, developmental language & coordination disorders). The age range seen ranges from neonates to adolescents.

The EEG (Electroencephalogram) Clinic is part of the neurology clinic and staffed by a full-time EEG technician. Requests for an EEG study from your provider are entered in CHCS (make sure that your contact information is correct) and our technician will call within a few days (if available) to schedule the appointment. Specific instructions for the EEG patient are provided verbally, but patients stopping by the clinic during duty/clinic hours can pick up written EEG preparation instructions.

There is NO walk-in clinic.

Consult and follow-up visits for established patients are by appointment only. They are scheduled through the TRICARE appointment line. Routine consults submitted through TRICARE are usually seen in 2-4 weeks (14 to 30 days), but this may vary depending on staffing and military operation requirements. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow necessary paperwork and vital signs to be completed prior to the visit with your provider.

Telephone messages left for providers are generally answered within 24 hours (make sure you leave a valid return number). Patients are requested to call for medication refills Monday through Thursday (not Friday) to allow your provider time to process your request.
